The December wedding of Hayley and Jason photographed by Assembly House wedding photographer, Nic Skerten.
Two days before New Year and I was lucky enough to be photographing Hayley and Jason’s winter wedding at the Assembly House in Norwich. The Assembly House is probably one of the most elegant settings for a wedding in Norfolk, adding a touch of Georgian splendour to their important day.
Luckily the weather was dry and not too cold with some late winter sunshine at times.
After getting some photographs of Jason with his father and brother (and also best man) it was time to await Hayley’s arrival. Hayley looked beautiful in her elegant wedding dress, escorted into the Assembly House by her father.
Jason and the wedding party were all waiting for her in the beautiful Noverre Ballroom together with their young daughter who seemed to want to be a major part of the ceremony.
During the register signing the wedding party was entertained by some very accomplished singing from Jason’s father.
The drinks reception was held out in the Grand Hall with it’s magnificent crystal chandeliers – a great opportunity to capture some natural and authentic moments as family and friends congratulated the bride and groom.
Before everyone sat down for the wedding breakfast in the Noverre Ballroom, I took Hayley and Jason away for a few minutes to get some romantic images of the two of them.
