Cley Windmill Wedding Photographer – Nic Skerten
Cley Windmill is one of the smallest wedding venues I am aware of with numbers limited to a maximum of 25 people including the bride and groom, with guests sitting on sofas and armchairs in the circular ceremony room surrounding the happy couple.
I have photographed many weddings at Cley Windmill over the last 8 years with the wedding of Andrea and Neil being the first on a beautiful, sunny August day with blue skies and fluffy white clouds. Since then I have covered weddings throughout the year in all the various weathers you can get on the North Norfolk coast.
One of the treasures in Norfolk, these are just some of the reasons why I regard Cley Windmill so highly as the venue for small intimate weddings:
the windmill can be used for just an intimate family and close friends wedding ceremony with the reception for a larger wedding party hosted elsewhere, or the entire ceremony and reception can be hosted at the mill
it is the most magical and romantic place for weddings with the wedding suite upstairs in the windmill opening out onto the balcony under the windmills sails that faces out over the glorious North Norfolk coast
the windmill and the nearby pebble beaches and marshes offer a wide choice of locations for wedding photography.
As a Cley Windmill wedding photographer I can highly recommend this beautiful and unique venue for a small wedding.
